Mostly influenced by the early 90s hip hop era and 80s pop, Rizwan Awwal found his way to the dj booth at age 14. It was a struggle from the first day to build what has today become a national promotion and disc jockey company.

His musical style has been most formed by the last few years in the South Asian party scene. With a forte for remixing on the spot and using unique beats to blend what is normally bland top 25 music, DJ Riz works hard to innovate his music and Tribe’s involvement in America ’s club life.

Today, his focus remains on stretching Tribe horizons deeper into the music industry and providing quality entertainment for those of us that appreciate good parties and good music.

It’s 2 A.M . in downtown New York City. There’s not an empty spot on the dance floor and the drinks are now being served up like water in a river. The crowd raises its hands and pushes higher to heat up the dance floor as DJ Ace aka Ankur Gargdrops hits after hits! When it comes to the music industry, there are very few people in this business that make music for music’s sake; DJ Ace aka Ankur Garg is the last of that dying breed. In fact, it is this same self-professed marriage to music that has kept him extremely busy these past few years. A truly multi-faceted talent; the young star serves up music as a DJ, producer and remixer. Ankur Garg is living proof of the fact that in a time where mal-produced music is standardized for marketing purposes and promoters host half-assed events for sheer profit’s sake musical talent still exists. Not only does it exist, it’s alive and kicking in his heart. A musician for music’s sake, he stays grounded in his roots and never forgets where he came from “Music is my Life” and every track I make is the soundtrack of my Life!
